We've always supported new music, now we're going one step further to get you closer to some of the most exciting bands around.
Topman CTRL is a brand new concept in UK music, which invites a different act each month to take charge. The Controller will program a gig and give you complete access to their musical world through a dedicated blog.
We're counting down to 2nd March when Metronomy take the reigns right here. They've put together an exciting one-off show at London's Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen on Wednesday March 25th featuring some of their favourite bands: Kamerakino, Your Twenties and Koko Von Napoo.
Joe from Metronomy will DJ, playing lots of the music that he'll be writing about on these pages throughout the month.
Topman CTRL will get right inside the artists' heads and pull out all the music, films, places, books and other hidden gems that make up a great band.
In the words of Joe from Metronomy: "Topman CTRL is a great chance for me to go out and see some bands that I really like. The best part is that I also get to force people to hear the music that has influenced me, or at least force them to read about my influences. I plan to be in everyone's face for a month."
We'll also be seeing you at the festivals with CTRL stages at Brighton's The Great Escape and the Underage Festival at London's Victoria Park in the summer.
An unmissable online and live experience for anyone who cares about new music, friend Topman CTRL and we'll keep you switched on to the latest updates.
This is heavy!
