The lovely guys over at Topman CTRL spent their night listening to the likes of Tim Burgess, The Heartbreaks, Stephen Morris and many more...it's a tough life. They were kind enough to post up a review and give us some photographic goodness...
"It’s hard to know where to start with such an incredible show, so let’s go for the beginning. The day started at the home of controllers Salford Lads Club on Coronation Street (the real one!). Stephen Wright, the man responsible for that Smiths shot back in 1985 was on hand to help eager fans recreate the famous shot. Once that was done it was all across to the Ruby Lounge, one of Manchester’s best small venues. We always try to bring you the best new music on CTRL but the Manchester line up was something truly special, stacking up four live acts and three DJs including two of the city’s most famous musical alumni..."
