Twisted Tales: Topman Blog sees Roald Dahl's dark side...

Over the weekend we were invited to check out the new production of Roald Dahl's 'Twisted Tales' at the Lyric Theatre in Hammersmith. A firm childhood favourite in Topman Towers, we were suitably impressed at the cleverly plotted short stories Roald Dahl had to offer. This production didn't disappoint and certainly had the Roald Dahl signature - clever dialogue, some gruesome scenes and of course the twists in the tales that lend themselves to the name.

Gabriel Orozco @ The Tate...

Morning blog readers! Over the weekend we were invited to attend the new exhibition from the talented Mexican born Gabriel Orozco. Perhaps most famous for the iconic geometric skull or the Citreon DS car made ever so slightly smaller, this is your chance to check out some of his lesser known works. The photographic pieces were pulling in a lot of views but the most intriguing piece had to be the huge scroll filled with numbers cut out from the phone book, a unique and perplexing sculpture.

So, head down to the Tate Modern when you have a spare couple of hours and we promise you won't be disappointed! Don't forget to check out the Ai Wei Wei sunflower seeds sculpture, taking almost an entire floor of the Tate Modern!Have you been? Planning on going? Let us know what you think!
