Apple iPad 3 Leaked Details

Just as CES (Las Vegas) was winding down Bloomberg has had 3 people claiming they have intimate details about the Apple iPad 3. The rumours are:

• It went into production this month and is due to launch in March.
• It will have a quad-core CPU (as opposed to the dual-core A5 found in iPad 2).
• The new high def display has more pixels on its screen than some high-definition televisions.

If this is true the introduction of the new iPad will be Apple’s first major hardware release since the death of company co-founder Steve Jobs in October.

Wanna be a Part of the Olympic Opening Ceremony?

Although a mighty 10,000 volunteers have auditioned for the Olympics’ Opening Ceremony, the organisers were rather hoping to put on a show featuring twice that number. And they’re especially keen to feature more men:

We need more men – particularly if you have rhythm! This means those of you who can dance but also drum, or do any sport, job, or hobby that involves keeping to time. Previous performance experience is not required; Ceremonies Volunteer Performers simply need lots of enthusiasm, personality, a positive attitude, huge amounts of energy and a willingness to perform in front of a stadium audience and to millions of people around the world.
