If you care about people, it makes sense! I work in care home setting. I have started to talk about this to our manager and will plan about supporting it like doing coffee mornings to our service users and communities. We have purchased fair trade shirts that our people can wear whenever we have outreach programs. Fair trade is a movement aimed at helping people help themselves. It not only pays fair wages to producers, but also supports them by supplying financial and technical assistance, respecting cultural identity and the individual, developing long term relationships with artists and artist groups, protecting the environment, and educating consumers about the effects of how they spend their dollars. Fair Trade is a system designed to help people while creating sustainable development for families and their communities. I am fan of this humanitarian cause and i wont have a second thought to have it tattooed in my right hand!

I have asked my local corner shop to stock more fairtrade goods and will also ask the school cafe to stock fairtrade - as they already offer chocolate that could easily be replaced with a fairtrade alternative.
I have registered my step on the website :) Thanks

I've decided to shop with more fairtrade items as there really is plenty of choice. Perhaps more importantly I've asked my local shop if there is a way they can stock more fairtrade items for me to choose from!

I drink Fair Trade coffee but also try all I can to be ethical and will buy Fair Trade clothing. I buy Fair Trade chocolate and avoid companies to the best of my knowledge that are unethical and do not support the people.

Have seen the PureDKNY promotion so will buy a bottle of that instead of replacing with my usual brand of perfume. As big coffee drinkers we have switched already to fair trade coffee and sugar. Will keep an eye out for more Fairtrade products to switch too.

My Theatre group meet every saturday and sunday and we bring in cakes for the mornings and sell them in town in the afternoons to raise money for our performances. After doing a presentation to them that I also did at school, I convinced them all to use Fairtrade products in the cakes and all the money is all going towards Fairtrade. Hoorah for Fairtrade!
