Joe Williams, PR Co-ordinator.
When and how did you get your job?
I started in May 2011. I was working in a fashion PR agency previously and was ready for a change. The job vacancy came up, so I applied and here I am.
What's the best part of your job?
Working with such a great team.
What's your typical day consist of?
A normal day consists of sending out samples, checking press coverage and plenty of chatting on the phone!
How would you describe your own style?
I think my style is pretty eclectic, I like mixing up old and new pieces.
Who/what is your main inspiration within fashion?
Robert Rabensteiner is my style hero.
What's the most embarrasing item of clothing I own?
A pair of sailor trousers...I'm not entirely sure where I was planning on going in them!
If you didn't do this job, what else would you like to be doing?
If I wasn't in PR I'd want to work with animals. Maybe open a zoo?!
Do you have any advice for anyone that wants to get into the fashion industry?
Just try and get as much experience as possible through internships etc whilst studying.
