Apple iPhone 5 to Launch Today

Following rampant speculation, Apple has officially announced that the iPhone 5 will be unveiled at a special event today. Using the date which casts a “5″ shadow as a teaser of sorts, a keynote address is planned for 6pm (BST). Suspected features include a thinner, taller iPhone with a 4-inch display and smaller dock connector.

Rumors suggest Apple will start taking iPhone 5 pre-orders after the event wraps up with a 21st September release date. We wait with bated breath!

Amazon Introduce Kindle Fire HD

Yesterday Amazon introduced the Kindle Fire HD. Featuring an array qualities including 1920×1200 resolution, a laminated touch sensor (cuts down on glare) and two antennas to create more dependable Wi-Fi performance (41% faster than iPad). The device also sports a front-facing HD camera, HDMI out and Bluetooth to name but a few (via High Snobiety)...

Available in two versions: one with an 8.9 inch display and one with a 7-inch display both include Dolby Digital Plus sound. Alongside this, the Kindle Fire software has been improved with a new interface, email client, custom Facebook and Skype app all built-in.

Red Bull's F1 Car Races Round New York
