With the traditional British weather bringing us no suprises this summer, BBQ's are a thing of the past.. so we went to the next best thing - Tramshed.
Located on Rivington St in the heart of Old St, this stylish new restaurant boasts only two things on the menu; chicken and beef. For the veggie in you there's an option of a garden salad, frowned upon by the elite meat chefs, but for the intrigued converts in you then fear not - meat can still be added. The piece de resistance comes in the form of Damien Hirst's specially commisioned sculpture of what else, but a cow and a cockerel, immersed in formaldehyde slap bang in the middle of your dining experience.
Like us and not content with just meat? The drinks bar is stacked full of liqor for those deliciously dangerous cocktails for you to start, or end your night!

We headed down to the Barbican Centre recently to check out the ‘Bauhaus: Art as Life’ exhibition, and we weren’t disappointed. Featuring works from the world’s most famous art school, the Bauhaus masters of art showcase an array of paintings, sculpture, photography, design and technology.
Opening in 1919 and lasting for only 14 years, the German Art School gained popularity after the First World War with their modern vision, uniting both art and technology, with a vision to change society. A truly fascinating exhibition which exposes the skill, the technique and the vision the school had, as well as the turblent history which ultimately led to its closure.
As always, we didn't forget to check out the gift shop on the way out (of course it’s there..) - and now proud owners of this tote bag!

So.. denim is making a comeback. It’s undeniable. Whether it’s shirts, jackets or a standard 5 pocket jean, denim is everywhere and it’s slowly creeping back into our wardrobes. With that in mind, we made the trip over the channel to Premier Vision in Paris; a hub for denim enthusiasts, designers, buyers and researchers from all over the world.
Showcasing new fabrics, wash techniques, trims and styling, we sent our denim experts off for 2 days to meet with some of the biggest denim mills in the world to decide what you’ll be wearing next season. Keep your eyes out for new trims, colours and wash techniques in Topman soon, but if you can’t wait until then, head over to our new Denim Room page for all your summer needs.

Calling all foodies to check out Bill's restaurant in Covent Garden, head there before half past one and enjoy an amazing breakfast such as Eggs Benedict! This cannot be missed! Can't get up in time, like me! Then you can always go for lunch which includes a grilled chicken caesar salad with a soft boiled egg and lots of dressing. Too healthy for you then go for the the fish finger sandwich with tartar sauce it's GOOD!

As part of our commitment to standing around in muddy fields and drinking overpriced cheap lager, Topman headed to BBC’s free Hackney Weekender last weekend to listen to some of the biggest names in the charts, but more importantly to trend spot! Our buyers and designers travel all across the globe, but British summer festivals are still one of our favourite places to look out for new and upcoming trends for the coming seasons.
With Hackney being the hub of East London and also home to some of the most cutting edge fashion, we were overwhelmed with the amount of photo’s we took. Camo prints and beanies were everywhere, a trend which is certain to grow into Autumn Winter, not to mention the
